poem 68

"if I open up my heart to you

can you promise not to close it 

can you promise to keep secret

all the things I left unspoken

can I show you all my memories

the ones that meant the most to me

can you promise not to change them

because that's the way they're supposed to be

if I give you all my love

will it be enough

will there be enough time

to do all the things we spoke of."
